Can you believe we only have 8 weeks left to our school year! I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter break. The children certainly enjoyed being back together. They had a lot of stories to tell! They are certainly a chatty group! Which is a good thing!
This month we will finish up our alphabet and start talking about some blends. We will continue working on our initial and final letter sounds and sight words. We will be learning about "All things SPRING" -plants, flowers, birds, butterflies, and insects.
In Math we will continue to strengthen our skills recognizing sets up to twenty, adding and subtracting and continue practice writing our numerals.
Next week we will celebrate Earth Day, on Thursday, April 22. Please send in a white tee shirt for your child by Monday. We will be working on our tee shirts and wearing them on Earth Day!
Race for Education is coming soon. Our Pre K children will run on Thursday, April 29. Our pre K team is doing well, thanks to all those who support our fundraising efforts.
