MAY 2022
WoW! We are in the homestretch friends! Your little ones have grown so much this year! I love seeing their development. We are so proud of them. We enjoyed a great Friday afternoon participating in Kite Day with our prayer partners. It was great seeing everyone together and all the kiddos were treated to a pop sickle which they enjoyed!!
We will be busy this month, there is a lot going on!
This Tuesday , May 3 we will be attending mass with the school and then honoring our Mother Mary with our May procession and crowning. Friday is our Spring Fling, and school is closed for pre K. It is such a fun day for our students. Please pray for good weather. This year the carnival is open two weekends in a row. It is not mandatory that your child attend this Friday afternoon, May 6, but it is encouraged. And remember during the school day starting at 10:30 it is only open to our students, not the public. Any parent that attends needs to be Virtus approved. Unfortunately, I have to call in for jury duty for that Friday. If I am not there it is because I needed to do my civic duty!
Olympic Day for K- 8th graders is Friday, May 20. We are trying to set up a little sports day for Pre K 3 and 4 with our prayer partners. More information will follow when we get a date confirmed.
The church is celebrating their Bicentennial with Bishop at 9:00 mass on May 22. Following mass there is a reception. You need to register if you plan to attend the reception.
Monday, May 23 is our Mother's Tea at 1:00. We are hoping to be able to be outside but if not we will be in the classroom. We are encouraging all the half day students to stay with us all day. They will need a lunch.
Race for ED will culminate with the students "running" on Thursday, May 26 and Friday the 27th we will start the Memorial Day weekend with a noon dismissal.
June 1 we will celebrate all the students whose birthdays happen in the summer. I ask that the moms whose children celebrate a summer birthday can organize a nice little snack for the class!
June 2 will be our last day in the classroom. We will be sending many things home! Our last day celebration will be the next day, June 3. We will all meet at "The Playroom" in Forest Hill.
